At Genelio, we are deeply committed to protecting your privacy — especially your genetic data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what controls you have over it.
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, DNA data files), information collected automatically (usage data, device information), and genetic data you choose to upload from third-party DNA testing services.
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Genelio service, generate personalised health insights, and communicate with you about your account. We never sell your personal or genetic data to third parties.
Your DNA data is treated with the highest level of protection. It is encrypted at rest and in transit, processed only to provide insights, and never shared with insurance companies, employers, or third-party advertisers.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, we remove your personal and genetic data within 30 days from all our systems, including backups.
We employ industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption, SOC 2 Type II compliance, regular security audits, and strict access controls to protect your information.
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data at any time. You can also opt out of certain data processing activities and request restrictions on how we use your information.
